What Text to Speech Does

Built with precision to solve real problems without adding complexity.

Right-Click to Read

Select any text on any page, right-click, pick Read aloud. No prep, no side panel.

Browser or AI Voices

Toggle between your browser's built-in voices (free, unlimited, offline) and 6 expressive AI voices from OpenAI (opt-in).

Play, Pause, Stop

Control playback from the popup while audio runs. Pick up where you left off.

Every Browser Voice, Grouped by Language

Browser mode lists every voice your OS exposes, grouped by language. Speed 0.5x to 2x, pitch 0.5 to 2.

Six AI Voices

AI mode offers Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova, and Shimmer. Better quality than OS voices. Opt-in with explicit consent.

Free Trial of AI Voices

About 5,000 characters of AI voices per day (roughly 2-3 minutes of speech). Browser voices stay unlimited and free, always. Pro tier coming soon for unlimited AI.
